Newmont is seeking Class 1 Truck Drivers for its Kitimat-Stikine, British Columbia site. The work supports safe, efficient operations through materials, equipment, and supply transportation. Candidates need commercial hauling experience, transportation-regulation knowledge, and a strong safety mindset.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport materials across the mining operation
- Move equipment and supplies throughout the site
- Support safe and efficient site operations
- Apply load securement and safe operating practices
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum five years of commercial hauling experience
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and load securement
- Ability to work independently on a rotational schedule
