Drive for UPS from its Surrey Hub, completing deliveries and pickups while applying route planning and customer service skills daily.
UPS seeks a full-time Courier Driver, also called a Delivery Driver, based at its Surrey facility. The Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule starts at 9:45 a.m., though operational requirements may vary. This permanent position requires vehicle inspections, dispatch problem-solving, and communication with customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Complete daily delivery and pickup schedules
- Use road maps and trip planning aids
- Solve dispatch problems while traveling assigned routes
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 driver’s license
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow set procedures
- Ability to lift 70 pounds unassisted occasionally
