Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. Preloaders may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast‑paced environment.

• Unload and load packages off and on trailers, air canisters and other vehicles early in the morning.
• Lifting, lowering, and moving of packages weighing between 10 to 70 lbs.
• Scanning and sorting packages based on postal codes, addresses, and package dimensions.
• Understanding and recognizing postal codes, routing charts, and maps.
• Standing closely with conveyor belts and other equipment in the warehouse.
• Working in a team environment to ensure efficient transfer of packages.

• Ability to follow safety and standard procedures.
• Good organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment.
• Able to regularly and safely lift packages between 10 and 70 lbs unassisted.
• Warehouse experience is considered an asset but not required.
