Your role will focus on ensuring outbound efficiency and compliance throughout the shipping process.
As a Distribution Centre Team Lead, you will directly oversee shipping functions, coordinating with team members to drive performance and accuracy. Key tasks include supervising order staging, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules, and providing support for training associates on operational standards. Collaboration with supervisors and transportation partners will be crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support team to execute shipping and safety protocols
• Train new team members on workflows and equipment use
• Enforce quality monitoring for shipping procedures
• Assist with daily performance tracking and reporting
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in a DC or warehouse setting
• Proficiency with WMS and related technologies
• Strong understanding of warehouse logistics flow
• Capable of basic math and effective communication
• Valid MHE certification or willingness to acquire
