Shipping Equipment Operator

The Shipping Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately picking product from the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center and staging the product at the proper loading areas. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties. Other responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft in the air.
• Utilize RF scanners to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from storage racks onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location in the loading area.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to safely and effectively operate forklift or cherry picker equipment.
• General understanding of warehouse and distribution center operations.
• Strong communication skills, including comprehension and articulation of detailed instructions, reading, writing, and understanding commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40ft in the air.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong communication skills as described above.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, and move items up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
• Sitting: 5%
• Desk or phone work: 5%

• Starting hourly pay: $20.00 - $22.00/hour (Based on experience)
