Russel Metals is one of the largest metals distribution companies in North America, with a growing focus on value-added processing. It carries on business in three segments: metals service centers, energy field stores and steel distributors. Its network of metals service centers carries an extensive line of metal products in a wide range of sizes, shapes and specifications, including carbon hot rolled and cold finished steel, pipe and tubular products, stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous specialty metals.

Its energy field stores carry a specialized product line focused on the needs of energy industry customers. Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers mainly on an "as is" basis.

The successful candidate must be able to work Friday/Saturday/Sunday, rotating shifts: 6am to 6pm, and 6pm to 6am. 3 days, 12 hour shifts.

• Ensure safe work procedures are followed
• Able to handle fast paced environment
• Forklift and use other types of hand tools as required
• Pick and package material according to customer orders and specifications
• Detail oriented
• Comply with workplace policies and procedures (operational, quality and health and safety)

• Grade 12 or equivalent (those with experience in the industry will also be given consideration)
• Able to bend over to hook up loads, stand for periods of time and climb
• Good knowledge of math and measurements
• Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory
• Self-motivated, results oriented
• MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT/PULL 50+ LBS REPEATEDLY FOR HOURS AT A TIME

Wage
: $24 / hour
