Elevate your career at Ryder as a Material Handler I, focusing on vital warehouse operations. Operate forklifts and handle diverse logistics tasks at our Fort Hills remote camp.
In this permanent, full-time role, the Material Handler I will report to the Logistics Supervisor and manage essential warehouse functions. This includes loading, packing, and shipping duties along with supporting automated packing systems. Experience a unique work schedule of 12-hour shifts followed by ample time off.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute warehouse tasks including loading and unloading trucks
• Maintain precise paperwork for shipping and receiving
• Oversee accurate product picking and packing
• Operate forklifts in compliance with safety standards
• Conduct routine cycle counting for inventory accuracy
Requirements:
• One year of warehouse experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Must lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to work independently and as a team
