I am working with a highly regarded architectural practice to recruit an Architectural Technologist to join their growing team in Surrey. Working across the Residential, Healthcare and Education sectors, the practice has a strong commitment to sustainability and an ambition to achieve net-zero in the coming years. Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the technical delivery and coordination of architectural projects.
Produce detailed technical drawings, Building Regulations applications, tender documentation and construction drawing packages.
Develop construction details and technical design information in line with project requirements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, Building Control, consultants and contractors.
Assist with feasibility studies, planning applications and supporting documentation.
Develop project specifications using NBS where required.
Ensure designs comply with current Building Regulations, legislation and relevant industry standards.
Attend site visits, project meetings and technical inspections as required.
Provide technical and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Work collaboratively with the wider design team to ensure projects are coordinated and delivered effectively.

About You

Relevant experience as an Architectural Technologist within the UK.
A strong understanding of UK construction methods, technical detailing and Building Regulations.
Experience producing detailed technical and construction drawing packages.
Experience using NBS for specification writing would be beneficial.
Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with clients, consultants and contractors.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical design.
Well organised, self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
