About the Role
- Deliver engaging and tailored GCSE tuition sessions
- Support students in building subject knowledge, exam technique and confidence
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Track and monitor student progress
We are particularly interested in tutors who can teach one or more of the following at GCSE level:
- English Language and/or Literature
- Maths
- Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential
- Experience teaching or tutoring at GCSE / Key Stage 4 level
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of GCSE exam specifications
- Patient, adaptable and committed to improving student outcomes
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Pay for this role varies between 25- 30 per hour
, depending on experience and qualifications.
