Simply Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and specialist school in Surrey, supporting pupils aged 6-11 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and communication needs. We're looking for passionate, resilient, and caring Classroom Assistants to join their dedicated team.

While the school is primary-based, many students are working around 2+ years below their chronological age, making your support absolutely vital to their progress.

Hours (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)

Start: 8:15am daily
Finish
Mon / Wed / Thurs: 4:45pm
Tuesday: 5:00pm
Friday: 4:00pm

Your role will include:

Supporting high-quality teaching and learning
Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
Encouraging independence and personal development
Supporting students' cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development
Adapting to changing needs to ensure the smooth running of the school
Occasionally supporting with physical intervention (full training provided)

The role will require

GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent)
A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Adaptability, resilience, and a team-focused mindset
