Position: Geography Teacher Sixth Form (January Start)

Geography Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Surrey

The role is a full‑time, permanent Geography Teacher for a reputable secondary school in Surrey. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Geography curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver captivating Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement, curiosity, and participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Humanities department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Geography education.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Geography or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
