SEN Teacher - New Specialist Satellite Provision Esher September 2026 Start

Location: Esher, Surrey
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Interviews: Taking place ASAP

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an exciting new specialist satellite provision that opened in Esher January 2026 for September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a growing team and help shape a new educational environment from the very beginning.

The provision will support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and a range of complex additional needs. The setting will mirror the specialist approach and pupil profile typically found within established specialist schools for learners with significant learning and communication needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes

  • Create a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment

  • Support pupils with complex learning, communication, sensory, and behavioural needs

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting provision to maximise outcomes

  • Promote independence, confidence, and personal development for all learners

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with pupils with SLD, ASD, and/or complex needs

  • A strong understanding of SEND best practice and personalised learning

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A patient, flexible, and positive approach to teaching

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
