We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a critical healthcare contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, maintaining critical electrical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient operation of essential services.
Working closely with the Estates team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime and supporting a safe, compliant environment.
β‘ What you'll be doing:
π§ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site
βοΈ Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
π οΈ Ensuring electrical installations comply with current regulations and industry standards
π Supporting statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements
π¨ Responding to emergency breakdowns and prioritising critical systems
π» Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CAFM system
π€ Liaising with contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of engineering works
π¦Ί Following all Health & Safety procedures while working within a live critical environment

What we're looking for:
πΉ NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering
πΉ 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
πΉ Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Healthcare or a similar maintenance environment
πΉ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
πΉ Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
πΉ Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices
πΉ Strong communication and customer service skills
β Desirable:
β Previous experience working within a healthcare or critical environment
β Experience working on critical building services infrastructure
β Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems
