We are currently partnering with a fast-growing renewable heating specialist to recruit an Air Source Heat Pump Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding service team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to move into a role that offers local work, an excellent work-life balance, and genuine career progression within one of the UK's fastest-growing renewable energy businesses.
Unlike many service roles, you'll benefit from minimal travel, no on-call rota, and no regular overnight stays, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service while enjoying your evenings and weekends.

The Role
As an Air Source Heat Pump Maintenance Engineer, you'll carry out planned servicing, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and minor repairs on a wide range of domestic heat pump systems.
Your work will be concentrated within your local area, allowing you to build relationships with customers while avoiding excessive travel.

The Candidate
We're looking for an engineer who enjoys delivering quality service and takes pride in customer satisfaction.
Essential:

Experience servicing or maintaining Air source heat pumps
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Excellent customer-facing manner
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently

What's on Offer?

Salary £35,000 - £45,000 DOE

Company van
Pension scheme
Ongoing manufacturer training
High-quality tools and equipment
Structured career development
Supportive engineering team

What Makes This Role Different?

Local patch - spend more time servicing customers and less time driving.
No on-call rota - enjoy your evenings and weekends.
No extensive working away - maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Planned maintenance focus - less firefighting, more preventative engineering.
Excellent progression - clear opportunities to move into Senior Engineer, Technical Support, Service Management, or Technical Management as the business continues to grow.
Why Apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that's building its reputation around quality installations, excellent customer support, and long-term maintenance rather than volume alone. As demand for heat pump servicing continues to increase, you'll join a company committed to investing in its engineers and providing genuine opportunities for long-term career development.
