Principal Flood Risk Consultant Leeds £50,000-£70,000 per annum A leading independent environmental consultancy are seeking an experienced and passionate Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join their team. You will be contributing to high-profile Flood Risk and Drainage projects, bringing your own expertise to this exciting role. If you are a Principal Flood Risk Consultant eager to integrate yourself within the existing well supported team, adding fresh ideas and innovativeness this is the opportunity for you.

Providing high quality and knowledgeable advice on Flood Risk and Drainage projects Assisting and supervising the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) and Drainage strategies for major developments within the property, renewable energy, and aviation sectors. Leading on complex strategic sites Mentoring and supporting junior team members Ensuring that environmental issues are at the heart of development design Engaging with a variety of stakeholder groups, clients, and design team The role requirements Extensive knowledge of the planning system, particularly flood related policy and guidance Ability to register and relay flood risk and drainage restraints and opportunities at development sites Experience in producing FRAs and drainage strategies Knowledge on writing and reviewing reports Experience in relevant software (AutoCAD, Info Drainage, GIS) To live in or near to Leeds A full UK driving license The full right to work in the UK If you are interested in this or other Flood Risk/Drainage/Hydrology roles, please do not hesitate to contact Scarlett Maclean on .
