We are looking for an Planning Enforcement specialist, to provide additional support to a busy Local Authority Planning Team in Surrey to assist the Planning Enforcement Team.
 
As a compliance officer you will investigate and resolve breaches of planning control.
Ensuring that development is carried out in accordance with approved plans and that conditions imposed on planning permissions are complied with in order to secure compliance with the decisions of the planning authority.  To lead and take part in proactive enforcement projects and public liaison opportunities throughout the Borough.

· Hybrid working available (office attendance is ideally 2 days per week)

· Local Authority planning enforcement experience essential

· A Full Driving Licence is Essential for site visits   

· Access to a vehicle for visits throughout the Borough is desirable although a pool car is available.

· The carrying out of site visits and investigations outside office hours and at weekends is occasionally required, together with appearance at hearings, public inquiries, committees and in court
 
Carrington West Pay Rate - £35 per hour Umbrella
