Our client is passionate about creating healthier, more sustainable food choices that benefit people and the planet. They are looking for a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Planner to join their team and play a key role in ensuring product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels across their network.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will support the management of product flow across multiple sites, ensuring customer requirements are met while balancing stock holding targets and minimising supply risks. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturing sites, and logistics partners to maintain a smooth and efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Commercial and Demand Planning teams to understand forecast changes and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
Create and manage purchase orders and communicate forecasts to key third-party suppliers.
Work closely with Customer Services and Order-to-Cash teams to support timely order fulfilment.
Coordinate transportation between manufacturing sites and logistics providers.
Manage SAP MRP activities, stock reconciliation, inventory rotation, shelf-life monitoring and stock investigations.
Resolve IDOC and inventory discrepancies to maintain stock accuracy.
Produce daily out-of-stock reports and communicate inventory risks across the business.
Review supply chain performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
Supply chain, logistics, planning or operations experience would be advantageous.
