We are looking for a Furniture Upholsterer to join our talented team of craftsmen and women. We are an established business specialising in bespoke furniture design and manufacturing. You would be working from a brand new, purpose built workshop in based on the SW London/Surrey border, where we have in-house production and manufacturing teams producing high-end, free standing and fitted bespoke furniture.

Job Description

• Preparing and completing bespoke high-end pieces of upholstery furniture.
• Working with a variety of materials, including leather.
• Templating and cutting materials.
• Tacking, cutting, covering, and general tool operations.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of all aspects of upholstery, including reupholstery.
• Experienced with deep buttoning.
• Skilled in both traditional and modern upholstery techniques.
• Have the ability to take accurate measurements and work out fabric quantities
• Able to work to tight deadlines and use own initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high quality products.
• Upholstery sewing experience would be an advantage.

Must have at least 5 years upholstery experience.
