CNC Turner / CNC Machinist CNC Machining & CNC Turning

Location: Esher, Surrey

Rate: up to £44,600 per annum (DOE)

Hours: 39 hours per week + overtime

An established and highly regarded precision engineering and CNC machining business is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist to strengthen their CNC machining team in a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist with a strong background in CNC Turning and CNC Lathe work to join a stable, well-run business producing high-quality precision components for technically demanding industries.

You will be working in a clean, well-equipped environment alongside other experienced CNC Machinists, programming, setting and operating modern CNC Lathes and playing a key role in the full CNC machining process.

The Role CNC Turner / CNC Machinist:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes (Haas) using G-codes

• Offline / CADCAM programming is a MUST (OneCNC preferred, but any CADCAM software considered)

• Producing precision components through high-quality CNC Turning

• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

• Working to tight tolerances in a precision CNC machining environment

• Taking jobs from concept through to completed part

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Machinist

• Strong background in CNC Turning and CNC Lathe machining

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes

• Offline / CADCAM programming experience is essential

• OneCNC experience preferred, but other CADCAM packages considered

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

• Confidence working to tight tolerances within a precision CNC machining environment

Hours & Pay:

• 39 hours per week

• £17.00 £ 22.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Monday Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm

• Friday: 8:00am 1:00pm

• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours
