16 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to work on our site which boasts a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in one of our schools in New Malden.

The purpose of the post is: To provide a high quality and passionate catering service to students, staff and visitors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To serve customers in a fast-paced environment with flair for presentation and precise portion control.
• To always ensure the counters, seating areas and kitchen are kept clean at all times.
• To deliver a quality hospitality service.
• To complete cleaning rotas / dishwasher duties as required.

• To help in the preparation of the school lunches.
• To maintain correct food storage and holding temperatures at all times.

• To act at all times within the current Health and Safety at Work regulations.
• Promote excellent customer service to all customers.
• Carry out any other reasonably comparable duties that may be required from time to time.
• Undertake additional duties as required.

• Be willing and excited at the prospect of further development through Radish’s development training.
• Have a flair for communication and enjoy working as part of a team.
• To remain at all times respectful of equal opportunities.

Safeguarding is of the utmost importance to Radish, therefore you will be required to complete a full DBS Clearance.
