Programme Facilitators deliver a range of Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions for people on probation to reduce re‑offending and help them build pro‑social lives.

Typical evening work is required and is compensated as unsocial hours with a 30 % additional rate. You will also travel across the region to deliver programmes at multiple sites; travel expenses can be claimed.

Starting salary is £28,064 (pro‑rata for part‑time roles). Unsocial hour payments include a 30 % evening premium and a 50 % Saturday premium. The role offers annual pay progression through a Competency Based Framework.

• Deliver accredited group and one‑to‑one sessions to offenders on community orders or licence after release from prison.
• Monitor progress, risk and well‑being throughout the intervention.
• Keep accurate records and share insights with relevant teams (Prisoners, Probation Practitioners, Domestic Abuse Safety Officers).
• Work closely with courts and criminal justice agencies to support sentence management.
• Provide workshops and briefings to probation staff and external stakeholders.
• Use pro‑social modelling to reinforce positive behaviours.
• Participate in a 6‑month probationary period, including an assessment centre and training programme.
• Travel to different locations within the regional area as required.

• Experience in delivering rehabilitation interventions or similar group facilitation.
• Knowledge of Accredited Programmes and Structured Interventions.
• Strong communication, influencing and managing quality service behaviours.
• Ability to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid right to live and work in the UK (see immigration eligibility details).

• Meetings and interventions are primarily delivered in the evenings;
  Saturday work attracts a 50 % premium.
• Hybrid working arrangements may be available depending on business need (only in the UK).
• Travel across the region may be required; travel expenses can be claimed.
• Standard full‑time hours are 37 per week, excluding unpaid breaks; part‑time, flexible, and job‑sharing patterns are supported.
