Unlike many care roles, this is a term-time only position with the option for Monday to Friday-only working, giving you more time to enjoy school holidays and weekends while building a meaningful career.

No two days are ever the same. One morning you might be supporting a young person to prepare breakfast independently for the very first time.

Later that day, you could be encouraging someone to take part in a favourite activity, helping them build confidence in social situations or celebrating a personal achievement they've worked incredibly hard to reach.

• Supporting young people with daily living skills and encouraging independence.

• Working closely with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals and families.
• Recording important information and contributing to care plans.

Supporting children and young people with complex needs can be challenging.

Some young people require support with personal care, mobility, communication or behaviours that may challenge. There will be busy days, emotional moments and situations that require patience, resilience and teamwork.
