Platform Engineer

PLATFORM ENGINEER LONDON £70,000 - £80,000 This is a rare opportunity to join a small, highly capable platform team at a pivotal point in a long-term technology transformation. You will play a key role in reshaping core infrastructure, driving automation and scalability, and influencing how the platform evolves over the next phase of growth. THE ROLE Design, build, and evolve Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure as part of a broader architectural refresh. Drive improvements in automation, scalability, and reliability across the platform. Contribute to decisions around cloud architecture and core frameworks. Collaborate closely with platform, data, and engineering teams to enable faster and safer delivery. Document designs clearly and communicate ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

YOUR

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong hands-on experience building and operating Kubernetes environments. Experience working with a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Confidence designing scalable, automated infrastructure rather than maintaining legacy setups. Exposure to infrastructure as code, Terraform experience is beneficial but not essential. Comfortable sharing ideas, challenging existing approaches, and collaborating in a small team environment. SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary Sacrifice Schemes:
