Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor – Aviation – West Sussex
We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary construction and property consultancy with presence across the UK and proven success in a variety of sectors including Rail, Utilities, Energy, Roads, Energy etc. Due to continued growth in their Aviation arm, they are actively seeking an experienced Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the South to aid the Commercial Team.
Responsibilities
* Commercial Leadership & Project Delivery
Take ownership of the commercial delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring works are delivered to budget, programme and quality standards while maintaining full alignment with client objectives and operational constraints.
* Pre & Post Contract Management
Lead all commercial activities across the project lifecycle, including procurement strategy, tender management, contract administration and cost control, ensuring robust governance under NEC or similar forms of contract
* Cost Planning, Reporting & Financial Control
Develop and manage detailed cost plans, budgets and cashflow forecasts, providing accurate commercial reporting, cost analysis and value engineering advice to ensure effective financial decision-making.
* Stakeholder & Client Interface
Act as the key commercial point of contact for clients, contractors and consultants, leading meetings, managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships across complex, live infrastructure environments.
* Team Leadership & Business Development
Manage and mentor junior surveyors while supporting wider business growth through client engagement, fee management and contribution to new work opportunities within the infrastructure and aviation sector.
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level qualifications
Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar role including Consultancy and Infrastructure experience
Must be based within a commutable distance of West Sussex
Benefits
£80,000 - £110,000 + Package
