An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join the school’s finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes, ensuring the smooth and effective management of the school’s financial operations.

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting the annual budget and forecast process
• Monitoring expenditure and ensuring compliance with financial policies
• Assisting with audits, payroll and reconciliations
• Providing financial insight to the senior leadership and governors

• Proven experience in a management accounting or finance role, ideally within an educational or charitable setting.
• Professional qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or working towards one.
• Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills with proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
