About the RoleAt St John Ambulance, we are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an even more integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education.
We need passionate individuals who care about their communities and want to make a difference. As a Community First Aider, you will deliver first aid at local events and provide education to the public to promote the importance of First Aid.
Your Contributions- Support community partnerships and grow our membership and fundraising efforts.
- Help spread the message that First Aid Saves Lives.
Volunteering as a Community First Aider offers a sense of satisfaction and pride in delivering an essential service. It’s beneficial for you, your community, and the nation, requiring only a small time commitment.
Training and SupportWe provide a comprehensive induction, training for your role, and a supportive environment. Details about our volunteer roles are included in the role descriptions, and expectations are outlined in the volunteer charter.
Application ProcessThe process includes a selection event with an interview. Successful candidates will undergo two days of training.
The Welcome Event will be held in Chichester or Worthing, with dates to be confirmed based on availability.
Training will take place in October in Chichester or Worthing, with details to be confirmed for successful applicants.
