We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Podiatrist to join our recently integrated Community Podiatry and Diabetes Care For You (DCFY) Podiatry service supporting communities across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.

The post will be primarily based in Brighton; however, there will be a requirement to travel to satellite clinics across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. Therefore, a full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle is a key requirement for this role.

• HCPC‑registered Podiatrist.
• Demonstrable post‑registration experience in a range of clinical areas, including high‑risk foot care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work flexibly across different clinical environments.

• Deliver high‑quality podiatric care to a diverse caseload, including patients with diabetes, chronic neuropathy, vascular conditions, and basic wound care needs.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across a variety of settings, including community clinics, patients’ homes, residential homes, and hospital clinics.
• Undertake domiciliary visits for house‑bound patients (non‑complex cases).
• Develop and implement individualised care plans under the guidance of Specialist Lead Podiatrists.
• Participate in service development initiatives and clinical supervision.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure equipment and stock are managed in line with departmental protocols.
