Director of Local Government Reorganisation

Location: West Sussex

My Local Authority client in Sussex is looking to appoint a talented Director for Local Government Reorganisation on a Contract basis.

This role will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Council's LGR portfolio of programmes.

Local Authority experience is essential

About the role:

Based in Greater London (hybrid):

Review contracts due for re-procurement and existing contracts for in-term savings.
Translate political ambition into deliverable and measurable plans.
Establish and maintain disciplined Portfolio Management Office arrangements.
Establish strong portfolio structure and programme management arrangements
Ensure all legal and constitutional elements required for LGR are prepared.

About you:

You will have the following experiences:

Leadership of large-scale public sector transformation or reorganisation.
Deep LGR experience
Outstanding Programme Management skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Local Authority experience is essential.

What's on offer:

Salary: £1400+ per day, inside IR35
* negotiable based on experience
