Veterinary Surgeon – Brand New Practice

This is your chance to be involved from the very beginning. The client is opening a brand-new, purpose-built veterinary surgery in West Sussex and is looking for enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeons to help shape the practice from day one.

Located close to the Ashdown Forest, the surgery has been designed to support exceptional clinical standards while offering a bright, modern and enjoyable place to work. You’ll be joining a collaborative, supportive team where your ideas are welcomed and your contribution genuinely matters.

The practice is fully equipped with modern facilities and technology, providing a varied first-opinion caseload that allows you to use your current skills to their full potential. They are committed to helping you grow — through funded CPD, support for further qualifications, or long-term career progression.

• Be proactive and motivated, enjoy working in a fast-paced, progressive environment, and deliver outstanding patient and client care.
• Be hands-on in all aspects of the practice and play a key part in its ongoing development.
• Contribute to shaping the service delivery and clinical pathways at a brand-new practice.
• Support flexible working patterns; align with part-time or full-time options and a healthy work–life balance.

• Competitive salary up to £75,000 (dependent on experience and hours).

• 5.6 weeks’ annual leave rising to 6.6 weeks after two years, plus an additional day off for your birthday.

Some weekend work will be required, but there are no out-of-hours responsibilities.
