The Role
The Person al Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. They acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring the client to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed. They also uncover and originate consumer lending opportunities.
- Provide excellent client service by acknowledging, identifying, and offering appropriate products and services, and responding to inquiries promptly.
- Engage clients and prospects in client financial reviews and business financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs.
- Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients.
- Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients and consistently provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
- Open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients.
- Act as a resource to the Client Service Specialists by contributing to the team environment and filling in on teller functions (including cash transactions) when needed.
- Support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to the appropriate internal business partners.
- Stay current on products and procedures.
- Resolve client issues and requests, exhibiting strong follow through.
- Build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- 1 year of Client Service Specialist (Teller) or other banking experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered.
- Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
- Ability to complete multiple and varying client requests in a timely manner.
- Proficient in expanding the client relationship with emphasis on creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships using personal and business rapport with customers.
- Familiar with state laws and regulations related to products and services.
- Requires reading, writing and basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Preferred:
Obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS).

The pay range for this role is $18.00 - $25.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate will depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, details of which will be provided during the recruitment process.
