Specialised Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a fantastic Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding team in Carshalton. This role is based between a couple of schools and therefore is only suitable for drivers who own a car.

This is a specialist role and requires someone with a strong background supporting children and young adults. You will be supporting children who have had a period of time out of school (due to medical needs) and helping them phase back in.

• Support students in their transition back to school.
• Work closely with children on Education Healthcare Plans and class teachers.
• Be a trusted adult to that student.
• Travel between sites where appropriate.

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• A patient, positive outlook on supporting Special Educational Needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process one.
• Two professional referee contacts.
