Our client based in Wylde Green is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a two‑form entry Primary school. You must have at least 12 months of experience working within a primary school setting and a desire to make a difference in the classroom.

Teaching assistant work is demanding and requires patience, stamina, teamwork and a caring attitude.

Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, supporting pupils’ learning and well‑being, and managing classroom behaviour. Work collaboratively with the teaching team to promote high expectations for all children and contribute to a positive learning environment.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (in teaching or a related field)
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting
• Good oral, written and numeracy skills
• High expectations for all children
• Ability to enthuse and inspire children
• Commitment to improving outcomes for all children
• Understanding of how children learn and progress
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willingness to go the extra mile
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum and full understanding of safeguarding minors

The role starts ASAP and may continue longer for the right candidate. 10 days’ notice is required to leave the post. We provide competitive allocated rates and support for professional development.
