Teaching Assistant - Sutton Coldfield

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant based in Sutton Coldfield with experience in teaching phonics and interventions. The role starts as soon as possible and will conclude in July 2026, with potential extension for the next academic year if the candidate is a good fit.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching phonics and delivering targeted interventions to pupils who need extra support.
• Supporting the class teacher by tracking pupil progress and providing guidance to students requiring additional assistance.

Key qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Ability to work in an innovative and supportive classroom environment.
• Nurturing, patient, and passionate about making a difference.

The school is a small, supportive environment with two classes per year, aiming to foster positive self‑esteem and lifelong learning skills.
