Salary: £95 £ 115 per day, depending on experience

Full-Time, Permanent Join a Supportive and Rewarding Therapeutic SEN School We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our therapeutic Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in South Croydon. Our school supports secondary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing a nurturing, structured, and therapeutic environment where every young person can thrive. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support secondary-aged pupils with ASD both in and outside the classroom. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver personalised learning and therapeutic interventions. Help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment. Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development. Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour. Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils and their families.
What We Are Looking For We welcome applications from candidates who:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly ASD (desirable but not essential). Are patient, resilient, and compassionate. Have excellent communication and teamwork skills. Are committed to supporting pupils with complex educational and emotional needs. Are eager to learn and develop professionally.
