A well-established primary school in Sutton is looking for a passionate and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher to make a real difference in the education of young learners and help them develop a lifelong love of learning.

• Permanent position

• Starting in January 2025
• London MPS1 - UPS3 Salary

The school values creativity and critical thinking in teaching, providing a curriculum that encourages students to engage and take ownership of their learning. The Year 2 Teacher will work in a nurturing environment where the needs of individual students are at the forefront of teaching practice.

• Develop and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons for Year 2 students.
• Assess and track Year 2 student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Promote an inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of Year 2 learners.
• Collaborate with the Year 2 team to create dynamic learning experiences for students.
• Establish strong communication with parents and guardians to discuss Year 2 students’ progress.

• PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Year 2 students.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
