Hays Education is supporting 2 Councils based in South
- West London, looking to recruit multiple interim to permanent qualified Speech and Language Therapists roles from band 5 to band 7, starting September.

Roles will be based in multiple mainstream and SEN schools and are full-time.

These opportunities are ideal for therapists who are passionate about supporting children and young people with communication needs within specialist educational settings across primary and secondary.

The role

As a Speech and Language Therapist in an SEN school, you will:
Assess and support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs
Deliver individual and group therapy programmes
Support pupils with ASC, SEMH, and complex learning needs
Contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Provide practical strategies to support communication across the school environment
Roles are available on up to 12-month contract basis.

Requirements
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (education or clinical settings)
Strong communication and collaborative working skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
