My client is a fast-growing, award-winning Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Transport Planning consultancy delivering projects across residential, commercial and care sectors. You will join an active and collaborative civil engineering team working with developers, architects and local authorities on schemes from early appraisal through to construction .
 
In this Civil Engineer role, you will be:

· Working within a lively Civil Engineering design team delivering drainage systems, highway layouts and S278/S38 schemes

· Undertaking drainage design in accordance with Sewers for Adoption, Building Regulations and the SuDS Manual

· Designing on- and off-site highway features in line with DMRB and Manual for Streets standards

· Acting as Project Manager on designated schemes, managing resources and coordinating delivery

· Supporting the preparation of fee proposals and managing project budgets

· Producing consistent, high-quality drawing packages using AutoCAD and Site 3D

· Reviewing work produced by more junior team members and providing developmental support

· Managing design risks and embedding health, safety and sustainability principles into your work

· Supporting business development and networking activities alongside senior colleagues
 
To be considered for this Civil Engineer position, you will ideally have:

· HND, BEng, MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering

· Experience working with local authorities, developers and architects

· Be working towards ICE professional accreditation

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Site 3D (or equivalent 3D software)

· Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively
 
Your salary will be £37,000 - £44,000 per year dependent on experience, reflecting your capability as a Civil Engineer. In addition, you will benefit from:
