senior clinical stroke/neuro physiologist bank position - band 6nhs afc: band 6

to provide specialist neurophysiological investigations in both adult and paediatric units within the department. Responsible for the investigation and reporting of the various procedures performed. Working practices should be in accordance with occupational guidelines set out for each investigation, but you will have sufficient expertise to adapt practice to meet requirements of the service area.

to take a clear and concise clinical history.

  • routine adult eegs both in the department and on the ward, including itu
  • sleep deprived eegs in the department

b – paediatric eegs

to have some experience in performing and reporting on the following to a high standard. Also need some experience in dealing with children with special needs, challenging behaviour and autism.

to take a clear and concise clinical history.

to perform routine calibration and maintenance on equipment.

routine paediatric eegs in the department and on the ward, including nnu.

sleep deprived eegs in the department.
