• Located 18 minutes from Mansfield town centre
• Drivers are highly desirable due to early shifts (7:00 AM) and limited public transport
• Nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk and not reliable for early shifts
• Free on-site parking available for staff.

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll carry out the usual Support Worker duties while also supporting with managerial tasks which includes office-based work. Around 25% of your time will be dedicated to these managerial duties.

You will support our service users with personal care, as well as support at mealtimes and throughout the day to have adequate food and fluids, to spend time in their community, participate in leisure activities, go shopping, attend appointments, and administrate their finances and medication. Please note that due to the needs of our service users,
there may be elements of moving & handling and risk management involved in the role; as such, you will need to be willing and able to undertake these duties.

In addition to this, some of your duties will include:

• Developing and writing person-centred support plans as well as reviewing and updating existing plans when required to an exceptional standard.
• Completing a wide range of admin tasks which ensure compliance with CQC regulations.
• Provide practice leadership, which includes observing colleagues’ practice and giving feedback.
• Assume responsibility for safeguarding adults.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of support to service users who may present behavioural challenges.
