We are looking for a PA/Companion to support a 21-year-old young man who enjoys dance, performing arts, cinema, bowling and social activities. As a PA/Companion, you will be supporting SPA-JCA to access and enjoy a range of activities, including going for walks, visiting parks, and relaxing in cafés over hot chocolate. SPA-JCA may experience anxiety in community settings, so we are looking for someone who is calm, patient, and understanding.
Your role will include ensuring his safety and wellbeing at all times, while supporting him to build confidence and independence. Skills & Experience Experience with adults with learning disabilities, autism and ADHD Understanding of epilepsy and seizure management Good communication and de-escalation skills Reliable, patient and able to build a positive, trusting relationship
