Mobile Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer – London & South of England

An established M&E services provider based in Sutton, Surrey is currently recruiting for two permanent positions for a Mobile Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to support its growing commercial building maintenance portfolio. The company has been operating since 2003 and delivers high-quality technical M&E services across London, Greater London and the South of England.

This role would suit a technically strong Mobile Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer who is comfortable working independently while also being part of a small, skilled mobile team.

Role overview:
The engineer will carry out a mixture of planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding and installation works across commercial sites. The position requires a flexible and proactive approach, with exposure to a wide range of building services systems.

Key responsibilities include:

* Emergency lighting testing

* Power circuit installation

* Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

* Maintenance inspections

* Controls and BMS works (where applicable)

* Supporting both service and installation activities

Skills and experience required:

* Minimum Level 3 electrical qualification

* At least 5 years’ industry experience

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Good working knowledge of building services, including mechanical systems

* Controls or BMS experience is advantageous

* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Flexible attitude and willingness to develop skills

Package and benefits:

* Salary £35,000 to £45,000 per year, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

* 40-hour working week

Due to some clients being government departments, successful applicants must be able to pass Home Office Security Clearance (SC).
