Job Description & How to Apply Below
If you are an experienced SENCO or an experienced Deputy SENCO seeking progression who has worked with pupils with SEMH across either primary or secondary phases this role may be for you. We are currently supporting an established alternative provision group with their journey of growth. The Regional SENCO role will be split across multiple sites, and you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule based on the pupils needs.
Travel between sites can be claimed at 45p per mile during the workday, and you will be given a mobile phone and laptop with all required facilities. Start dates are to be discussed, however if you are available either from Easter or beforehand, please do let us know if your application.
These sites are part of a national trust who are focussed on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners. If you are of a similar mindset and ethos, we would be very happy to discuss the role in more detail.
In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:
A relevant UK based NASENCO qualification.
QTS Teaching Qualification.
Substantial experience working within a SEND specialist education setting.
All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
Exceptional references.
All applicants are subject to online searching checks as part of our commitment to safer recruitment.
Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your SENCO experience and personal requirements.
Proposed start date:

Salary potential: £50,000 to £60,000
Date posted: 13.01.26
Final date to receive applications: 10.02.26
