Sen Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a qualified SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Sutton Coldfield on a full-time basis. This role for the remainder of the academic year with the potential to be full time in September.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established special school that supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD. We are looking for someone who has primary experience and is passionate about helping the children at this school to achieve their full potential.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs.
• Support primary pupils with a range of complex learning and communication needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies, including sensory and structured learning approaches.

• QTS
• Previous experience teaching primary‑aged pupils
• Experience working with children with SEND
• A strong understanding of ASD, communication needs, and EHCPs
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• A patient, flexible, and caring approach
