About the roleConnex Education is seeking a Science Teacher who brings strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring students while also demonstrating patience, resilience, and compassion that are central to our school ethos. The role starts ASAP and is a long‑term booking, potentially running until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, tailored to small groups and individual needs.
- Differentiate teaching to support students with social, emotional, and special educational needs (SEN).
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom that promotes confidence, curiosity, and positive behaviour.
- Use creative and practical approaches to make Science meaningful and enjoyable.
- Assess, mark, and provide regular feedback to track and improve student progress.

- Previous experience working in education is essential.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom.

- Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
