Tankered Trade Waste Technician

• Support the operation and growth of the Tankered Waste business in Bioresources
• Provide a waste reception and control service and a customer point of contact across the Severn Trent Waters region
• Work closely with Production colleagues on-site to provide a swift, reliable and professional service to customers
• Ensure that samples of waste loads are taken and analytical testing is performed & recorded
• Ensure appropriate paperwork and records are completed and dealt with appropriately
• Perform consistent and effective process for acceptance or rejection of loads
• Operate the waste discharge tanks onsite
• Liaise with site operational staff on a daily basis
• Record & compile data, produce reports and support delivery of relevant SLA’s / KPIs and requirements of the Tankered Waste Team & Manager
• Work in other sampling duties as required such as for domestic waste

• Proven marketing experience at a senior level
• Comfortable at working from multiple Severn Trent Water locations
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision making with key stakeholders
• Hold a full driving licence
• Great attention to detail and excellent communication/problem-solving skills
• Awareness of water or waste industry and wastewater processes (beneficial but not essential as training will be provided)

Demonstrates expertise in waste management operations, including waste reception, control services, and analytical testing. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for engaging with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
