Purchase Ledger Assistant

22.5 hrs a week - 3 days a week

We’re looking for a detail-focused Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team within Manheim Inspection Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations while building strong relationships with suppliers.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensuring invoices are processed efficiently and on time.

• Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and transactions accurately and on time
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
• Managing invoice approvals through workflow systems
• Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining account accuracy
• Handling supplier queries and payment issues professionally
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoice queries
• Supporting process improvements and general administrative tasks

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience
• Experience using ERP or finance systems
• Customer service or supplier-facing experience

• Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships
• Is comfortable working under pressure
• Speaks up when something doesn’t look right
