The Leisure team at The Belfry Hotel & Resort look after the perfect place to keep fit and stay active with some of the best fitness equipment and facilities in the area. Our expert team are always on hand to welcome our guests and provide fitness advice, personal training sessions and fitness classes.

The Leisure Club Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and commercial success of the Leisure Club at The Belfry Hotel & Resort. Working closely with the Director of Golf & Leisure and colleagues across the wider resort, the Leisure Club Manager will deliver a premium member and guest experience, drive revenue growth, and ensure consistently high operational standards.

• Manage recruitment, training, rotas, appraisals, and performance management
• Drive innovation and partner with industry leaders to elevate and promote the leisure club
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the leisure club, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient delivery
• Take full responsibility alongside the leisure sales manager for leisure membership sales, renewals, and retention strategies
• Own and manage the leisure club budget, ensuring strong financial control
• Drive new member acquisition through effective sales processes and team motivation
• Oversee class timetables, wellness programmes, and new leisure initiatives

The on target earning potential for this role is £36,717.85, comprising a base salary of £34,939.45 plus a qualified estimate of £1,778.40 gratuities.

We are looking for a professional, driven and highly organised individual, who is truly passionate about the industry. The following skills and experience levels are desired :

• Proven management experience within a Leisure Club, Health Club, or Fitness environment
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and financial targets
• Demonstrated success in membership sales and retention
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Strong operational knowledge, including health & safety and pool operations
