Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast‑paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities.
Buyer – Permanent – Salary dependent on experience. Monday to Thursday 7am/8am – 4pm/5pm, Friday 7am/8am – 1pm/2pm. Minworth Buyer Job Description
Responsibilities- Day to day commercial management of the supplier base
- Negotiate prices and contract terms
- Manage RFQ to SOP, including NPI
- Manage supplier delivery issues / negotiate claims
- Previously worked within the manufacturing industry, automotive is highly desirable
- Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar
- Experienced working within a fast‑paced environment
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
