Manufacturing Engineer | £50,000+ | 33 Days Holiday | Early Friday Finish | Personal Development
A Manufacturing Engineer opportunity has become available with a growing Birmingham based engineering manufacturer currently investing heavily in production capability, process improvement and automation across its manufacturing operations.
With continued growth and long-term investment across the site, the business is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing performance, improve production efficiency and help drive Continuous Improvement activities within a fast-paced production environment. In return, the successful individual will receive a salary of up to £50,000, strong long-term stability, ongoing training and development opportunities, early Friday finishes and the chance to play a key role in future manufacturing improvements.
Graduates and junior engineers are encouraged to apply.
Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities include
- Improving manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and output.
Reducing production issues, waste, and downtime.
Supporting Continuous Improvement and productivity projects.
Improving manufacturing methods, layouts, and process flow.
Creating SOPs, process documentation and training support.
Supporting automation and new equipment installation projects.
Manufacturing Engineer desirable skills and experience
- 2 years' experience within a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or Production Engineer role.
Background within high-volume manufacturing production environments.
Experience using Lean Manufacturing, CI tools or problem solving techniques.
Manufacturing Engineer benefits include
