Supreme Recruitment are looking for an experience Materials Handler to join one of out clients based in Sutton Coldfield on a temp to perm basis.

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring materials are received, stored, moved and dispatched safely and accurately. The role supports production by ensuring materials are available when needed and helps maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse.

You must have a counterbalance and either flexi or 4-way reach forklift license for this role!

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure materials are supplied to production accurately and on time.

* Load and unload deliveries and production materials.

* Receive and book goods into SAP.

* Issue materials to production and process stock movements in SAP.

* Pick and transfer stock between warehouse locations.

* Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.

* Ensure all shipping paperwork is completed accurately.

* Store materials correctly and clearly identify stock.

* Process material returns accurately.

* Carry out stock checks and support stock accuracy.

* Follow stock rotation procedures.

* Record raw material weights where required.

* Deliver materials to internal departments when needed.

* Ensure material handling equipment is safe and fit for use.

* Maintain good housekeeping standards using 5S principles.

* Safely move and handle hazardous waste.

* Follow all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.

Skills & Experience

Essential

* Experience working in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.

* Good attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

* Good organisational and communication skills.

* Basic computer skills.

* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

This is working on a rotating shift
- Mon
- Fri 6am - 2pm and Mon
- Fri 2pm - 10pm rotating weekly

Pay: £15.01ph whilst training rishing to £16ph after
